Tobias Hefele, 34, is now joining the Hamburg-based team as Director Programmatic and Platform, overseeing the advancement of digital and automated processes for cinema advertising booking.

With Tobias Hefele, a recognized digital expert is strengthening the Hamburg-based family business. At Weischer.Cinema, he will work on building new and innovative programmatic solutions for the cinema advertising market. Simultaneously, he will consolidate the digital capabilities of the corporate group, contributing to the better integration of customer messages into the cinema advertising environment. This is expected to create new marketing options, ensuring greater efficiency in reaching the target audience for advertisers.
Weischer.Cinema is widely regarded as a pioneer in digitization. With the introduction of “Flex Pricing” and “Flex Targeting,” the company has laid the foundation for an increasingly automated cinema advertising environment. Since the beginning of the year, customers can determine the start, duration, location, context, and timing of their cinema campaigns individually, similar to digital advertising.
Before joining Weischer.Cinema in January, Tobias Hefele served as Director Digital & Innovation at Kinetic Worldwide Germany. There, he built the technology and data infrastructure for Programmatic Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) and developed digital innovation strategies for advertisers and agencies. Previously, Hefele was responsible for various business intelligence, IT, and sales control projects at Ströer and Ströer Infoscreen.
