This is the German Young Lions Team 2025

Twelve outstanding young creatives from top agencies Jung von Matt SPREE, Serviceplan, Scholz & Friends, and adam&eveBerlin have been selected to represent Germany at the 2025 Young Lions Competition. The national pre-selection, organized by Weischer, saw a high-caliber jury choose the best talent to compete this June at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity against leading teams from around the world.

Young professionals in communications were invited to apply in the categories of Film, Print, Design, Digital, Media, and PR. The most promising teams were invited to Weischer’s headquarters in Hamburg, where they were challenged to respond to a previously unseen brief within 24 hours—under real Cannes competition conditions. Clients for this year’s briefs included Coca-Cola, Cupra, FAQ Health, Mondelez, Stepstone, and Stock Spirits (Sierra Tequila). The resulting concepts were then presented to an expert jury, which selected the winning candidates for “Team Germany.”

Now, the next challenge awaits the Young Lions: in Cannes, they will be tasked with solving a real brief for a nonprofit organization—again within just 24 hours—and presenting their solution to an international jury.
